Who we are

This website (www.parambir.com) is operated by Parambir Randhawa on behalf of PSR Capital Enterprises Ltd (company number 17455623) and PSR Labs Ltd (company number 17468165), both registered in England and Wales at 24 Foster Road, Barnoldswick, England, BB18 5LW.

PSR Labs Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. It is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC256581. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean PSR Labs Ltd.

What data we collect

When you visit this website. This website does not use cookies, does not run analytics or tracking scripts, and does not embed third-party content. Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically processes the technical data your browser sends with each request, including your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. It does this to deliver the website to you and to protect it from misuse.

When you contact us. If you email or phone us, we receive your name, email address or telephone number and anything you include in your message.

When you use the Practice Value Diagnostic. The diagnostic is calculated in your browser. If you leave the benchmark box ticked, your answers and scores are sent to us without your name, email address or practice name, and are held in a spreadsheet on Google Workspace to build anonymous benchmarks. If you untick the box, nothing is sent. If you then join the waitlist from your report, your email address is linked to those answers so that they can be reviewed before any call.

When you join the Exit Value Programme waitlist. We receive your email address, the date and time you joined, and whether you also ticked the newsletter box. The list is held in a spreadsheet on Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd), separate from the newsletter list. If you tick the newsletter box, your address is also passed to Buttondown as described below.

When you subscribe to the newsletter. If you enter your email address in the subscribe form on the home page, we receive your email address, the date and time you subscribed and confirmed, and, when you open or click a newsletter email, the standard engagement data our newsletter provider records. You must confirm your subscription by clicking a link in an email before you are added to the list.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To deliver and secure this website: our legitimate interests in operating a working and secure website (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To reply to your enquiry and correspond with you: our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)), or, where you ask us about a service, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To build anonymous benchmarks from diagnostic answers: our legitimate interests in understanding the economics of small practices (Article 6(1)(f)). Unlinked answers are not personal data. Where you link them to your email by joining the waitlist, they are handled with your waitlist data.
  • To offer you a founding place during the presale, in the order people joined the waitlist: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). You can leave the list at any time by email.
  • To send you the newsletter you subscribed to: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) and regulation 22 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003). You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email, or by emailing us.

We do not use your data for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell it.

Who receives it

  • Vercel Inc., which hosts this website and processes the request data described above. Vercel is based in the United States. Transfers of personal data to Vercel are made under the data processing terms Vercel provides, which include safeguards for transfers outside the UK.
  • Apple, which provides the email service for office@parambir.com (iCloud Mail) and processes the emails you send us to provide that service, under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Google Ireland Ltd, which provides the spreadsheet in which the waitlist is held, under Google's terms and data processing terms.
  • Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, which processes payments for places on the Programme. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data, under its own privacy policy.
  • Buttondown LLC, which stores the newsletter subscriber list and sends the newsletter on our behalf. Buttondown is based in the United States. Transfers of personal data to Buttondown are made under its data processing terms, which include safeguards for transfers outside the UK.
  • Our professional advisers (such as accountants or solicitors), where needed, under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Public authorities, where the law requires us to disclose it.

How long we keep it

  • Website request data: for the period Vercel retains its logs, as set out in Vercel's privacy policy.
  • Waitlist data: until you take a place, ask to be removed, or 12 months after you joined, whichever is first.
  • Newsletter subscription data: until you unsubscribe, after which your address is removed from the active list. A record that you unsubscribed may be kept so that we do not email you again.
  • Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: deleted within 24 months after our last contact with you.
  • Correspondence relating to an engagement: kept for 6 years after the engagement ends, to meet legal and accounting obligations and to deal with any claims.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and, where applicable, to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month of receiving your request.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
